Spring into SEL
This week Team CoVitality is excited to announce the launch of our first ever Stakeholder Summit Series!
Our mission? Spreading the word about Social Emotional Learning and helping leaders across the country effortlessly spring into SEL this year.
Each 45 minute webinar in this 4 part series will focus on the experience of a different champion for student wellness. Learn valuable insights about the challenges they faced bringing social emotional learning and enhanced support for student mental health to their districts.
Hear first hand from the wellness advocates who overcame challenges many student support champions are facing today: from gaining stakeholder buy-in, to dealing with board and community members’ push-back.
See how they adapted to meet the needs and demands of their students and community in efforts to integrate holistic wellness into support plans moving forward.
Webinar attendees will have time to ask questions during Q&A and get access to experts in the following areas:
- Funding: Find innovative ways to secure funding for SEL programs.
- Rural Roadmaps: Discussions centered around implementing universal wellness screening tools in rural school-districts.
- Community Support: Navigating community and stakeholder push-back & advocating for student mental wellness.
Join CoVitality’s Director of Impact Katianne Brent, as we deep dive into stories from innovative champions for student wellness across the country. Interact with speakers with diverse perspectives and experiences implementing enhanced support for student’s mental health.
The first webinar in this resource packed event series kicks off this Thursday at 1:00pm PST, in a conversation with the Director of Support Services at Oxnard Union High School District, Shannon Houstin-Scott.
She’ll discuss the experience of bringing comprehensive strengths based screening to her entire student body, and answer questions from our webinar guests.
